Tables and bar graphs and "how much further do I have to walk!"

In school we were making tables and pie charts on the iPad, I decided to use my just giving page. I looked at the donations I've received since last September and put them into a table and then showed them as a pie chart.  Trying to find a way of up loading them on to here.

As far as training is going, well I have to say last weekend was HARD, Saturday I walked 27 miles in the wind and rain then Sunday I walked another 20. It was dry on Sunday so that helped. I'm desperate for Sas (my girl) to put new music on my mp3 for me, as much as I love Avicci and Black Eyed Peas there is only so much of  "Don't wake me up" and "Tonight's gonna be a good good night" that I can take in one day.
I have a 10 hour walk next Saturday then I'm happy to say it eases off before the big day.

Training

Never felt so fed up as I did on Saturday while I was training. I think the wind and rain not to mention the boredom of walking alone on a coastal path I have done umpteen times took its toll. BUT I didn't stop I kept going because I knew if I didn't I would have been gutted after. So hopefully the weather will be good this week for training and it will keep me in the right (determined) mood. C'mon London2Brighton #teamDiabetesUK

Kevin

Following Kevin (Kipper) James on twitter I found that he's been in hospital for a few days. He was supposed to come out on Monday but as yet haven't heard anything.  Hope you are feeling better soon :)

Autism Course

I've been here at University of Wales Trinity St. David all day today attending a course on autism. The speaker Gina Davies was excellent, if ever you have a chance to hear her speak take it. Hopefully hear is a taster. https://www.youtube.com/watchfeature=player_embedded&v=mbsKmMH0XjI#t=0.  She was informative and funny making the course very enjoyable. I now have some great new strategies to use with the pupil I work with. Cheryl Jones and the Education Effectiveness Team put on the course. I think I need a Starbucks now before round 2 so see you all in half hour!!!

Animation

Woohoo I did it EVENTUALLY!!!!!!

Working with pupils with an ASD.

Anyone working with pupils on the autistic spectrum  that use the ABLLS assessments I have found a great little app that you could use for C43. It is called FindIt! I think it is suitable for children in key stage 1 and lower key stage 2. If anyone has any suitable apps could you let me know. Thanks.

I've being working on the Voice for Autism project and because of this I've been making games using the 2DIY app. it is great for making interactive games. The only problem with it is that you are not able to upload photos from your album or the internet, only from clipboard or from the camera. you also have to have a purple mash account.
I'm doing the london2brighton100km challenge on May 24th for DiabetesUK. Hope I survive to tell the tale!!!!
